Blakeslee Home Improvement, Inc was founded as Blakeslee Aluminum by the late Rocco Testa in 1978. The company is now operated by his wife, Paula and a truly dedicated and experienced staff. Since 1978 we have grown from 2 to 20 skilled employees. At one time everything was aluminum - storm doors, windows and siding. As the business grew and the products evolved, we diversified and became Blakeslee Home Improvement, Inc., a FULL SERVICE Home Improvement Company. We specialize in making your house a home by offering energy efficient and low maintenance products that keep your home looking good year after year.

Blakeslee Home Improvement's installation department and management are certified and factory trained by several of our manufacturers, allowing us to give you the best installation and upgraded warranties. Our certifications include: GAF-Elk Roofing Certified Contractor, Certainteed Master Shingle Applicator, Certified Alcoa Vinyl Siding Installer, Certainteed Vinyl Siding Master Craftsman, Gorell Grand Additions Sunroom installation training, Seaway Manufacturing Sunroom installation training and most recently we attained the status of Energy Star Partner. We are currently undergoing testing to become AWDI Certified. AWDI is the Association of Window Dealers and Installers. This certification will assure quality installation backed by AWDI and Lloyds of London.

The business has been built on a foundation of community activism. The company is actively involved in the Greater Pocono Chamber of Commerce, Pocono Builders Association, Pennsylvania Builders Association, Better Business Bureau, and the National Association of the Remodeling Industry. We have donated gutter to several Habitat for Humanity projects in Monroe County and were involved with the Monroe County Red Cross extreme make-over. The company's office, showroom and warehouse is located on Mackes Road in Blakeslee. Mackes Road is 2/10 of a mile north of Route 940 on Route 115 on the left, just past Blakeslee Garage and Pocono Transmission. Watch for the Grand Re-opening of our newly renovated showroom.
